On her birthday morning Mike and I went into her room and woke her with a on tune rendition of Happy Birthday. She just looked at us a little confused. I explained it was her birthday and said she could have anything she wanted for breakfast. (Thinking of course she would pick pancakes or waffles.) When Mike asked her what she wanted she thought for a moment then responded with and excited "Cupcakes!" Well I guess we didn't make any stipulations and it is your birthday so as healthy as it is, okay.
Cassidy was excited to make cupcakes with mommy. She was with me earlier that week when I bought some mini cupcake pans (because mini cupcakes are much better) and she was waiting to make them. Luckily we snuck in a bowl of Crispix, her favorite cereal, while the cupcakes were baking.Later we went over to Grandma Gimp's for a birthday party. While waiting for everyone to arrive we decorated her birthday cake.

Cassidy loved helping decorate the cupcakes.
This was our first attempt and trying to really decorate a cake. It turned out pretty cute and tasted delicious!
We got Cassidy some little SnapN'Style dolls. She loves them! She almost didn't want to finish opening presents because she wanted to play with them right then. But the biggest highlight of her birthday was.....
Her Bike! I found this bike at a garage sale for $5. What a deal! Cassidy was so excited when I bought it and tried to be as patient as she could to wait for her birthday until she could ride it. She gets excited to wear her shark helmet. She loves "riding just like her Daddy."
Birthday cake... Yummy Yummy! What a great birthday we had. My little baby girl is two! Time goes by too fast but we have had a great two years with our sweetie so far and are looking forward to so many more fun times and great memories.
