Cassidy's First Christmas!

It's so fun to do things for the first time with our beautiful little girl. Christmas was Great!

Seeing the Lights at Temple Square for the First Time.

We had "Fake Christmas" this year because we wanted to celebrate with the Bylund's who came at the beginning of December. It was very fun! We upheld the tradition of shopping at the mall where Cassidy got her ears pierced. She was very brave and only cried for a short time. We had fondu, exchanged gifts, put on matching pajamas, and played guitar hero. Very fun. Thank you Roxanne for all your hard work to make Cassidy's first unoffical Christmas so great!

Cassidy sure loves her Uncle Jon! Grandpa Higbee bought her this onesie that says "Who Needs Santa? I've Got Grandparents!" It was so funny because it is so true.

Grandma Higbee bought Cassidy this cute dress for Christmas. Of course she gave it to her early so she could wear it beforehand. She is so beautiful! Who can resist such a cute face!

Cassidy tried to help open her first present. She was more interested in eating the paper than the cute outfit Aunt Shanae bought. She also had a great day with the gift bags on Christmas day. So did her dad by putting it on her head. All her uncles were very entertained.

Uncle Jared bought Cassidy the coolest bike! It has a steering wheel play console she can set on the ground for now and play with. It sings songs and lights up. Then as she gets bigger she can set it on the bike and play. She loves it! (And so does her mom because it occupies Cassidy so some housework can get done. ) Daddy has a cool bike so it was great that Jared thought Cassidy should have one too! Thanks for the Awesome gift!

Like Mother, Like Daughter!

We went swimming at the South Jordan pool while the Bylund's were visiting. Cassidy has been swimming before at the pool at Bear Lake but being so young she slept through the whole thing. This time she couldn't get enough! She was very alert and looking all around. We had fun showing her how much fun swimming is. She kept swimming with her mom long after dad was done being in the water! Mom was so glad to get to swim with one of her own children, something she has been excited about for years. Cassidy is well one her way to becoming a little fish!

Yeah for Cousins!

Cassidy had the privilege of meeting her cousins Brittany, Lindsay, and Ashley and Aunt Angela and Uncle Jon. She had a great time playing with all her new friends from Kentucky. We were so glad they we able to visit. Here are some of the fun pictures.

Still Thankful

I know that Thanksgiving is long over but I still wanted to take a moment to say how grateful I am for all my amazing blessings. I am so thankful for my wonderful family. What a beautiful little miracle my sweet daughter is and I am so humbled to get the chance to be her mother. I love her so much! She brings me so much joy. How blessed I am to have such a wonderful hard-working husband that makes it possible for me to stay home and raise our beautiful daughter. He is such a great man. Glad I finally saw what was always right in front of me and married him. : )
I am grateful for a warm place to live, a good car to drive and food to eat. As the economy continues to scare us I am grateful for all the abundance that we have.
I could go on and on because I am so blessed and have so much but we will leave it at that.
